Here’s a Christmas Illustration I’ve been working on. From start to finish. I thought it would be cute knowing how much my family loved to look forward to all the sweets during the holidays. 🙂
I sketched it out. Then used my brush marker to do the lettering, and my Micron pen to outline the drawing. Then used some watercolor paints to paint it. Once I was finished with all of that, I scanned and edited it in my free GIMP program (similar to Photoshop).
Supplies I used were:
- Plain white paper
- Generic Cheap Watercolors/Brushes
- Black Tombow Brush Pen
- Black Sakura Pigma Micron Pen (01)
I decided to show both versions of the final illustration. While editing it, I randomly put a white overlay on it and got a really nice pastel result.
So, you get to see the original final version and the pastel final version.
I’d love to know what version you like best.
And your favorite dessert to eat during the holidays! Mine is really almost anything homemade. I’m horrible… I can’t think of one thing in particular. 🙂
